I’ve always likened my ADHD brain to a computer - browser open (plus about 27 tabs), emails open x3, notes, photos, photoshop…it’s all going on. But what’s your normal? And how many tabs is too many tabs?

When I read my psychiatrists notes it said; ADHD, but likely mostly ADD as she sat still in the chair.
The missing H is the hyperactive, impulsive, fidgety side of ADHD.

I just wanted to confirm that it really IS a big adjustment to facilitate home learning for a 12, 10 and 6 year old whilst you’re working.
It’s also ALL the feels for your ADHD Brilliant Brain (which only digs it’s heels in and waves frantically these days at times such as this) and this feels like a craving for deep hyper focus. That’s ok.
You are never too much for anyone.
Having a partner with ADHD is not for the timid, precious or easily offended. It is not for those who value others organisation and routine above everything; and it is certainly not for those who are looking for a partnership where the Knight in Shining Armour saves the day.
I actually hate the turn of phrase. What on earth defines it?
Well turned out children? A well kept home? A job? The kids are still alive and have clean pants on (but their hair isn’t brushed)?
Totally brilliant, and not too sciencey, advice and ideas on how a diet with ADHD in mind gets the right bits of the brain talking. (Top marks for pun noticing.)
The deficiencies of the ADHD brain are thus:

These three voices (neurotransmitters) find it very hard to talk coherently to each other.
